About the Author

Sungu Armagan, Ph.D., is a Teaching Professor in the College of Business at Florida International University (FIU). She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Behavior and Social Psychology at the University of Utah. She has been a faculty member at FIU since 2006. She created the first business course on “happiness at work” in the country and the world and started teaching it in 2013 at FIU. She is an award-winning instructor of happiness at work, negotiations, international negotiations, organizational behavior, and organization and management at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. She loves her students and is heavily invested in sharing her knowledge with them while learning from them. She is particularly interested in studying and sharing with others how to enhance one’s personal and workplace joy while becoming productive, managing time well, doing one’s work with a spirit of excellence, and becoming a servant leader and a high performer. She provides professional workshops and seminars for companies on topics including personal happiness, workplace happiness, and executive negotiations.
