About the Author
Daniel E Goldberg

Daniel (Dan) E. Goldberg is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Human Resource Management, Fox School of Business – Temple University. He is also a member of the Graduate Faculty, the Academic Director of the Business Management Bachelor of Business Administration Program, and formed and is the chair of the Business Management Major Council. He was also the lead faculty member of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Intercollege Minor (ENTI) at Penn State Abington and continues to teach an Entrepreneurial Leadership engineering course for Penn State, statewide.

  

He was the founder and former owner of the national optical chain “For Eyes,” whose cutting-edge approach to the sale of eyewear and related services irrevocably changed the entire industry and had a major impact on how all service businesses are marketed. Subsequently, he created an international management, marketing, public relations, and advertising firm, Goldberg Strunk & Levy. Dan was also the founder and chairman of Atrun Oil and Gas, an exploration and production joint venture between an American entity and the Russian government.

  

He has been interviewed in publications such as Newsweek, Business Week, Investor’s Business Daily, and other major local and national magazines and newspapers throughout the United States. He has also appeared on Good Morning America and other television and radio programs across America, as well as numerous social media outlets. He is the author of four books, including: “Lighten Up and Lead,” “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Successful Leadership (co-authored with Don Martin),” “Soaring to Enlightenment,” and “Intrapreneurship: The Entrepreneurs From Within,” Dan also created a core course from all business management majors at Temple University titled, “Intrapreneurship in the 21st Century.”

 

Dan earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley University. He received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Kutztown University (where he helped form and chaired the College of Business Dean’s Board), his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Temple University, and his Associate of General Studies Degree from Community College of Philadelphia. He also formed and chaired the Drexel University School of Public Health Dean’s Board.
