About the Author
JUDI B LABRANCHE

Judi Bruno LaBranche has over 25 years experience in the field of kinesiology. She has been involved in delivering exercise programs in corporate, community, and clinical settings while working for industry leaders such as the YMCA, Johnson & Johnson, and Reebok International Ltd. Ms. LaBranche has also delivered student and employee campus wellness programs for both large and small universities. She has been an adjunct faculty member for Springfield College where she earned her bachelor degree in health fitness and master in health promotion and wellness management. Her main interest is improving quality of life for individuals with diseases or disabilities. LaBranche is certified through American College of Sports Medicine as an exercise physiologist, cancer exercise trainer, and certified inclusion fitness trainer. She is a senior lecturer at the University of Massachusetts. Motivation for this manual was to increase access to current fitness testing information in one source and to increase the practical application. Successful students will review the class reading before lecture and complete the modules before lab, including the links and activities.
