Understanding Child and Adolescent Psychopathology

Discovery

Understanding Child and Adolescent Psychopathology is an online textbook that provides a description of each mental disorder that can develop in childhood and adolescence as listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual- 5 (DSM 5).  It outlines the many factors (emotional, cognitive, biological, behavioral, and environmental) that combine to cause the development of each disorder and the most efficacious treatment modalities currently used for each.

The textbook is also a workbook providing videos with tests, activities, and flash cards that help the student retain the material they have read. At the end of each chapter there is also a chapter test. This online textbook is easily accessible on computer, iPad, or smart phones.
