I have taught all types of group activity classes for 30 years and I have noticed a disconnect between my students in all environments. I believe they should learn enough in a group activity class to be able to design their fitness program for the rest of their life.
These chapters are small and to the point. There is just enough information in them for you to be able to exercise properly for the rest of your life. I have also added in other tidbits to help you navigate through the myriad of misinformation about your health and marketing designed to take your money.
This book is for the individual who wants general knowledge of how to improve their fitness level including cardiovascular activity and muscular strength. It is not for the individual who wants to go into the health or fitness industry as a career, although this book is a good introductory course.
