Chau M. Tran is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University. He currently serves as the coordinator of the department’s capstone senior design courses. Over the years, he has also served as Director of Undergraduate Laboratories, Director of Undergraduate Advising, and coordinator of the department’s vibrations course. His work began in the fields of vibrations, acoustics and control systems, and has since expanded to include sports dynamics.
