C. Paige Lovelace earned her Master of Arts in Communication from The University of Texas at Tyler and served as a formalized Graduate Teaching Assistant during this time.  She was hired as an adjunct instructor in the Fall of 2011 at the TCC Northeast campus and subsequently as a full-time faculty member in Fall of 2016 on South campus. She now serves as both an Instructor of Speech Communication as well as the Department Chair for the Language Arts Department on the TCC South Campus.

In addition to over a decade of classroom instructional experience, she was honored to serve the past year on course release as the Lead Faculty Facilitator for the Active Learning Academy from 2019 – 2020. Under the direction of the Integrated Instructional Learning Environments Principle leadership, she was given the opportunity to help research, develop, propose, and implement professional development programs and assessment practices for TCC on a district-wide scale. Working in this role led me to not only more fully appreciate and understand our institutional initiatives, but also to participate in processes and procedures related to both faculty and student success.
