Elizabeth A. Bridges, PhD, is the cofounder and vice president of the Benjamin and Yancy Foundation, Inc. that addresses educational resources for the health and wellness of individuals with breast and prostate cancer. She completed her doctoral degree in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University. She also has master’s degrees in Business Administration and Educational Technology. Elizabeth was an adjunct professor in Nutritional Science at the University of Phoenix. She also served for 6 years as a Project Director for TRIO in Educational Talent Search. She is a grant writer and has managed million-dollar budgets. Her research interests are nontraditional students, health and wellness, parent perceptions of services, and mentoring. Elizabeth is a published author and has presented at professional conferences on five continents.
