Foster is an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Gregg Wadley College of Science and Health Professions. He has been teaching at his alma mater, Northeastern State University, since 1997 and has enjoyed a multitude of opportunities to serve his university, community, and profession. His professional responsibilities include serving as the Statistics Program Chair and Faculty Research Chair at NSU while also representing NSU on the Conference Committee of the Research Council on Mathematics Learning. Foster is active in his community serving as a CASA volunteer, President of the Tahlequah Public Schools Foundation, and Deacon at First Baptist Church. He has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 25 years and is blessed with three children. He is an avid Sci-Fi reader and plays the drums, video games, and D&D.
